Tell us what you need

A short brief is enough to start. We will come back with scope, approach and cost — and say plainly if it is not something we should take on.

About you
What you need

Outline is fine. Please do not send confidential details of a dispute until we have confirmed we can act for you.

How to reach you

We will use these details to reply to your enquiry and to carry out the client-acceptance checks a law firm must complete before acting. Sending this does not create a lawyer–client relationship.

How quotes work

How is a quote prepared?

From the scope: what the matter involves, how much of it the firm is being asked to handle, and how quickly. The firm comes back with a fee basis — flat rate, hourly or retainer — rather than a single number for every situation.

Is a quote binding?

A quote sets out proposed terms. The engagement takes effect when those terms are agreed in writing, and until then nothing in a quote commits either side.

Are government fees included in a quote?

No. Government fees, registration charges and other disbursements are payable by the client in addition to professional fees, and VAT at 15% applies to professional fees.
