Currently pursuing LL.B. (Hons.) at BRAC University, Tabassum Hasnat is serving as a Research Intern for Tuhin & Partners and The Legal Matters. As an aspiring legal researcher and multidisciplinary professional, her work spans legal scholarship, policy advocacy, editorial development, and organizational leadership. Accompanied with a diverse portfolio of law, research, and communications, her commitment remains strong to rights-based development, comparative legal analysis, and impactful storytelling.

 

In her role as Assistant Content Manager at Prospects Hive, Tabassum leads content strategy and cross-functional creative production for marketing and communication initiatives. Her editorial expertise is further demonstrated through her position as Associate Editor at Legal Empowerment Bangladesh (LEB), where she oversees the publication of research-based articles and advocacy materials. As a Policy Associate in the Law, Rights & Justice Policy Team at the Youth Policy Forum (YPF), she contributes to policy briefs, legal research, and stakeholder engagement centered on justice, rights, and governance.

 

Showing extensive experience in content leadership and organizational strategy, she has served as Content Lead, directing creative campaigns and helping establish a strong editorial framework for digital marketing. Her long-standing association with Esscre as the Head of Content & Creative, demonstrates her project management capabilities to manage communicational and operational setups, coordinate national and international creative projects, and streamline team-wide workflows.

Alongside her professional responsibilities, Tabassum has developed a strong presence in campus-based research, journalism, and civic engagement as the former News Editor of the Student Editorial Board of BRACU Express. She serves as Director of Marketing at Peace Café, BRAC University, where she contributes to advocacy and social impact initiatives aligned with peace, justice, and community dialogue. She has co-authored 30+ international anthologies published across Amazon, Kindle, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and other platforms, with features in notable outlets such as KNACK Magazine (Chicago), Terribly Tiny Tales (India), The Daily Star, The Dhaka Apologue, and Revista Kametsa (Peru). Her work with publishers, including 300 South Media Group (New York), Third Eye Butterfly Press (Florida), and Fenechty Publishing (UK) showcases her versatility as a writer. She is recognized as a Millennium Fellow (Class of 2025) under the Millennium Campus Network (MCN) and United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI)’s Millennium Fellowship.

 

She aims to build a career grounded in rigorous legal research, with a particular interest in human rights, tort law, comparative law, and corporate law.
