Osman Gani Tuhin
Founder & CEO
As the Founder of Tuhin & Partners and an FDI Facilitator Lawyer, Osman Gani Tuhin leads a consultancy firm specialising in corporate legal, tax, and compliance matters. His journey into this industry was inspired by a desire to understand the essential role of legal compliance in the business world. Starting as a BBA student, he recognised the significance of business compliance for success and embarked on a legal career to pursue this passion.
Osman’s educational background includes ongoing studies to become a Chartered Secretary at the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB), a Postgraduate Diploma in Tax Management, and an LL.M. and LL.B. (Hons) from Southeast University.
Throughout his career, Osman has played a pivotal role in numerous key projects, advising both local and foreign investors on the complexities of doing business in Bangladesh. His expertise extends to regulatory approvals, permits, and licence applications — crucial elements in establishing and operating companies in the region. He is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
The legal industry in Bangladesh has evolved significantly since Osman’s entry in 2013. He has witnessed transformative changes in technological adoption, with a growing need for digital tools, electronic case management systems, and online filing processes to improve efficiency and transparency. Looking ahead, he expects the profession to embrace legal innovation, specialisation in niche practice areas, international collaboration, and a heightened focus on corporate governance and compliance.
For those starting out, Osman emphasises a strong educational foundation, practical experience, specialisation, networking, communication skills, technological literacy, and ethical conduct.
